DVC Resorts

The only time the whole family may travel together is often during the summer holidays. And it can be the finest summer ever with a few tweaks! It can be difficult to fully appreciate Disney's beauty during the summer because of the relentless throng and the blazing sun. When it comes to feeling good on your Disney vacation, the upcoming hot Florida weather can make things a little more difficult. You'll be ready for a summer vacation to the theme parks at Walt Disney World if you use this guide.

How to Select the Best DVC Resort?

We strongly advise considering a few factors while choosing your home resort to increase the value of your choice. When selecting your home resort, keep in mind the following elements notwithstanding initial purchase expenses and yearly fees.

Location And Accessibility

Take into account the resort's accessibility and location. Some members prefer that their home resorts be close to a theme park or other place of entertainment, while others are perfectly content with a tranquil setting away from the parks. Before making a choice, consider the many transportation options that resorts provide.

Resort Amenities and Facilities

Each resort in the Disney Vacation Club has unique features and amenities, including varying room sizes, lodging options, dining establishments, and recreational facilities. Choose a vacation rental that suits your family's needs, your personal taste, and your unique flair.

DVC Resorts Theme

The resort's theme is another aspect you might want to take into account when selecting a vacation spot for your family. Each resort has a distinct theme, which is reflected in the decor, services provided, and design of the site. While some guests may favor the Polynesian or Beach Club Villas' style and atmosphere, others could adore the wild and beautiful Wilderness Lodge resort. Every resort has a distinct vibe.

Planning to Enjoy DVC Resort

Making reservations in advance is essential to ensuring that you get into the parks, can eat where you want, and can participate in the activities you want to. Start by ordering your tickets and reserving your preferred dates at the Disneyland® Resort or Walt Disney World® Resort. Next, find out whether you have a reservation at the places you wish to go to. Do you need suggestions for restaurants? For a list of restaurants where your Disney Visa Card will often save you 10%, see our Disney Rewards Dining Perks. Consider scheduling Enchanting Extras like exclusive photo shoots and guided tours as a final resort.

Activities to Enjoy Summer Vacation DVC Resorts

It's always great to imagine what we can do on upcoming travels as summer vacations come near. Here are some activities that have recently returned to DVC resorts in case you're still waiting for every summer travels to become available or are just searching for something fresh to do on your resort days:

Disney Vacation Club Fireworks Cruise as Enchantment

As of April 27, DVC members can reserve a boat along the Seven Seas Lagoon to enjoy both the Electrical Water Pageant and the Disney Enchantment fireworks display. Wednesday cruises leave from the Boat Nook at the Disney's Contemporary Resort. Champagne toasts and food boxes are included in the $85 per person price.

Disney Vacation Club Resorts have Community Centers.

You can participate in a variety of enjoyable activities at the Community Hall, such as Wii, table games, DVD and sporting goods rentals, books, and kid-friendly crafts. A large number of activities are free, although some art projects could have a little fee. It's a terrific way to socialize while passing a dreary afternoon!

Community Hall events are open to anybody, although it is assumed that you will be staying at the resort even if you are not a DVC member. (I myself have utilized the Community Hall while visiting many DVC properties as a non-DVC member.)

Family Time Afterwards

At the Disney Resort Hotels, the fun never ends when the sun goes down! The Resort Hotels provide a bonfire and a Disney movie outside on particular nights. There are s'mores kits and sticks for sale. Area for Campfire Sing-Alongs with Chip and Dale. One of our favorite nightly activities at Disney's Fort Wilderness is Chip and Dale's Campfire Sing-A-Long! Also, remember to verify your hotel's schedule for the Movies Under the Stars.

Safari at Night

Aboard an open-safari vehicle at Kidani Village for a nighttime safari in search of zebras, giraffes, antelopes, and more! For better viewing of some of the African species in the savannas of Animal Kingdom Lodge, guests are provided with a night vision gadget. The one-hour safari costs $89 per person and is available to visitors 8 years of age and older.

Architecture Tour

Meet near the fireplace in the Wilderness Lodge lobby at 9 a.m. every day to begin a one-hour walking tour around the resort. The tour dives deeply into the lodge's architecture, theming, artwork, and artifacts. This event is without cost.

Boardwalk at DVC

Built around a lake, Disney's BoardWalk is elegantly decorated to evoke Cape May or Coney Island in the 1940s. If you are staying on Disney property, you can travel to the BoardWalk using Disney transportation. Some of the affordable and free activities at Disney's BoardWalk include:

●    In the evenings, there are frequent street entertainers (jugglers, comedians, fire eaters, jazz

ensembles, etc.) – take a stroll and watch them!

●    There are numerous vendors providing low-cost food items.

●    You could spend a little money to try your luck at a game in the funfair.

●    Observe the Friendship Boats as they arrive and go.

●    Get a drink in the Abracada Bar, a lounge with decor inspired by the glory hours of stage magic and filled with numerous props and effects.

Enjoy Celebration at DVC in Summer Vacation

The town of Celebration, a planned neighborhood that was first created by the Walt Disney Company, can be found within a 10-minute drive from Disney World. Think of Mayberry—this is a charming, pedestrian-friendly tiny town! Market Street, the city's historic downtown, is a lot of fun to explore. Here are some ideas to use on your tour that will cost you little to nothing, along with a few indulgences to think about.

●    Discover the kilometers of walking pathways and nature trails, as well as the Lakeside Promenade.

●    Browse the beautiful specialty shops, boutiques and galleries on Market Street.

●    Each month, Market Street frequently hosts a variety of events, including craft fairs and auto shows.

Look for Activities to Help You Cool Down.

During your Disney summer trip, there are numerous methods to stay cool, enjoy the shade, and be comfortable. Try visiting some of the several indoor attractions, such as Mickey's PhilharMagic, which features theatrical performances in both Magic Kingdom® Park and Disney California Adventure® Park. Take a splashy ride like Kali River Rapids at Disney's Animal Kingdom® Theme Park or Grizzly River Run at Disney California Adventure® Park for additional refreshments.
