Common Issues with DVC Offer Submissions
Making an offer on a Disney Vacation Club resale is usually simple, but sometimes technical or account issues can get in the way. Here are the top five reasons you may be unable to submit an offer on a DVC listing, plus solutions to help you move forward fast.
1. You’re Not Logged In or Your Profile Is Incomplete
To submit an offer, you must be logged into your account and have all required fields filled out. This includes your legal name, email address, phone number, and mailing address. If your profile is missing any information, the system will not allow you to make an offer. Double-check your profile page before proceeding. For a step-by-step checklist, visit the Disney Vacation Club Checklist.
2. The Seller Has Accepted Another Offer
If a listing shows as “Under Agreement,” it means the seller is moving forward with another buyer. At this point, new offers are automatically disabled. Check back later or browse additional DVC Resale Listings for other opportunities.
3. Seller Enabled the Low Offer Tool
Some sellers set a minimum offer amount using the Low Offer Tool. If your bid falls below that threshold, the system will block your submission and provide a message. For current pricing insights, use the DVC Compare Prices tool or review official Disney pricing at Disney Vacation Club Points Charts.
4. You’ve Reached Your Offer Limit
Buyers can only have a certain number of open offers at one time. If you hit your limit, you must cancel an existing offer or wait for it to expire before submitting another. Manage your activity from your dashboard or contact DVC Sales for help.
5. Your Account Is Disabled
In rare cases, accounts may be suspended due to policy violations or unusual activity. If you believe this was done in error, contact support right away to review your account status.
