Resale prices run $130 to $155 per point, and annual dues sit around $9.02 per point, which is below average for WDW. You get boat service to Magic Kingdom, the same Wilderness Lodge restaurants and pools as Boulder Ridge, and access to the Cascade Cabins, standalone waterfront units on Bay Lake that are completely unique in DVC. Copper Creek Annual Dues (2026)

Copper Creek annual dues cover the resort's portion of Wilderness Lodge maintenance, landscaping, property taxes, insurance, and shared amenities. As a resort that opened in 2017, Copper Creek is still relatively new, which means the buildings and infrastructure have not yet needed major renovation work. That newer construction translates to competitive dues for a deluxe-tier resort with boat access to Magic Kingdom. Copper Creek and Boulder Ridge share certain facility costs, and the combined cost structure benefits both sections.

Location & Transportation

Copper Creek is located within Disney's Wilderness Lodge on the shores of Bay Lake, directly across the water from Magic Kingdom. The resort occupies the newer wing of Wilderness Lodge and also includes the standalone Cascade Cabins along the waterfront. The entire complex is surrounded by dense pine forest and designed to evoke the great national park lodges of the American Northwest.

Boat Service: The Wilderness Lodge boat dock serves both Copper Creek and Boulder Ridge guests. Ferries run to Magic Kingdom and the Contemporary Resort throughout the day, departing approximately every 20 minutes. The ride to Magic Kingdom takes about 10 minutes and is one of the most scenic commutes at Walt Disney World. You can see the castle and Space Mountain from the boat as you approach.

Bus Service: Complimentary buses connect Wilderness Lodge to Epcot, Hollywood Studios, Animal Kingdom, Disney Springs, and both water parks. The bus stop is located at the front of the resort near the main entrance. Because Wilderness Lodge is a compact resort (unlike sprawling properties like Saratoga Springs), there is only one bus stop, which means faster loading and departure times.

Cascade Cabin Access: The Cascade Cabins sit along the waterfront between the main lodge and Fort Wilderness. Cabin guests can walk to the main lodge in about 5 to 8 minutes via a paved path, or they can use a dedicated golf cart service that runs between the cabins and the lobby.

Walking & Biking: A paved nature trail connects Wilderness Lodge to Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground (about 1 mile). Bike rentals are available, and the trail passes through forested areas along Bay Lake. You can also access the boat from Fort Wilderness to Magic Kingdom as an alternative route.

Copper Creek DVC Room Types

Copper Creek is one of the most versatile DVC resorts when it comes to room options. It offers five distinct accommodation types, from compact studios to standalone waterfront cabins, giving buyers flexibility to match their vacation style with the right room category.

Deluxe Studios (340 sq ft, sleeps 4): Each studio features a queen bed, a pull-down single bed (Murphy bed style), a sleeper sofa, and a kitchenette with a mini-fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and toaster. The design uses warm copper accents, natural wood tones, and stone-inspired textures that tie into the lodge aesthetic. Studios include a split bathroom with a separate vanity area.

One-Bedroom Villas (690 sq ft, sleeps 4-5): A master bedroom with a king bed, a living area with a queen sleeper sofa, a full kitchen with granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and a washer/dryer in the unit. The master bathroom has a walk-in shower and a separate soaking tub. One-bedrooms also include a private balcony or patio.

Two-Bedroom Villas (1,080 sq ft, sleeps 8-9): These combine the one-bedroom layout with an adjoining studio, giving you two bathrooms, a full kitchen, washer/dryer, and dedicated space for larger groups. The second bedroom typically has a queen bed plus a sleeper sofa.

Grand Villas (2,049 sq ft, sleeps 12): Three bedrooms, four bathrooms, a full kitchen, a dining area that seats 8, and a spacious living room. Grand Villas at Copper Creek are on the upper floors and offer views of Bay Lake or the surrounding forest. These require a large number of points and are best suited for multi-generational family trips or group vacations.

Cascade Cabins (2-bedroom, sleeps 8): These are the crown jewel of Copper Creek. Each cabin is a standalone waterfront unit on Bay Lake with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a full kitchen, a screened-in porch, a private outdoor deck, and a hot tub. Cabins are approximately 1,600 square feet of indoor space plus the outdoor living areas. They offer a completely private vacation experience that feels nothing like a hotel. Cascade Cabins require the most points of any DVC accommodation, and during peak season, a single week can cost 300 to 400+ points.

Copper Creek Springs Pool: The main pool is designed to look like a natural hot spring emerging from the rocky landscape. It features a zero-entry gradual slope on one side, a 67-foot waterslide built into the boulders, a children's splash area, and two hot tubs.
