Location & Transportation
Copper Creek is located within Disney's Wilderness Lodge on the shores of Bay Lake, directly across the water from Magic Kingdom. The resort occupies the newer wing of Wilderness Lodge and also includes the standalone Cascade Cabins along the waterfront. Boat Service: The Wilderness Lodge boat dock serves both Copper Creek and Boulder Ridge guests. Ferries run to Magic Kingdom and the Contemporary Resort throughout the day, departing approximately every 20 minutes. The ride to Magic Kingdom takes about 10 minutes and is one of the most scenic commutes at Walt Disney World. You can see the castle and Space Mountain from the boat as you approach.
Bus Service: Complimentary buses connect Wilderness Lodge to Epcot, Hollywood Studios, Animal Kingdom, Disney Springs, and both water parks. The bus stop is located at the front of the resort near the main entrance. Because Wilderness Lodge is a compact resort (unlike sprawling properties like Saratoga Springs), there is only one bus stop, which means faster loading and departure times.
