Vacation Planning

The ideal vacation option for you this year might be to book a trip to Disney during the winter and enjoy the DVC resort. Do you know that the first few weeks of December and the first few days of January, commencing soon after New Year's Day, are the least busy times of Disney?

Trip to DVC resorts in December, you may take advantage of a flurry of holiday attractions and events. You will find a global Christmas spectacle at Disneyland called Holidays around the World. You will learn about holiday customs from all across the world, in addition to entertainment. A trip to DVC resort in winter vacation will be remarkable fun for you with your family.

The reasons to spend winter vacations in Disney World

Low Costs

Walt Disney World offers its most affordable rates of the entire year in January, September, and early December, though costs do increase as we get closer to the holidays. This is the best time to travel if you have a lengthy trip or a large family because hotel and package rates are at their lowest during this time of year.

Fewer crowd

Strangely enough, visitor numbers also decrease when park prices decrease. Again, other dates in the winter find the parks emptier than Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's. We cherish that this allows us to fit in more rides, secure popular eating reservations, and skip lines. Making the most of your vacation time is feasible thanks to fewer people and shorter waiting times for the bus and monorail.

Gorgeous Recreation

On this Journey by Disney vacation club, visit the icy tundra of Wyoming and Yellowstone National Park. Explore geysers and other fascinating phenomena, reveal panoramic views of the breathtakingly snow-capped Rocky Mountains, and go dog sledding across pristine, snowy landscapes. Spend some time unwinding in nature by soaking, swimming, or floating in natural hot springs surrounded by snow-covered pines.

Enjoy DVC Aulani Resort: winter vacations.

Looking for somewhere to stay during the winter that is significantly warmer? When you visit Disney's Aulani Resort in Hawaii, let your problems melt away! The charming island of Oahu is the site of this DVC beachfront resort. Disney's Aulani is the ideal vacation spot for relaxation and family fun because of Hawaii's gorgeous tropical beauty. The stunning beaches, family cottages, and numerous free activities ensure that no one ever gets bored here.

What could be better than taking a winter vacation and crossing off a dream location? When you stay at the Aulani Resort, you may enjoy storytelling around a fire, directed nature tours, guitar lessons, pools, whirlpool resorts, movie nights, live entertainment, and much more as part of your holiday package! You can enjoy the wonder of whale watching and swimming with turtles at DVC resort in winter Vacations.

Enjoy DVC Christmas celebration: Winter vacations.

Are you traveling to the happiest place on earth during the most festive season? It might be challenging to organize your schedule with all there is to do and see at Walt Disney World during the holiday season. On November 9, 2023, Walt Disney World will officially start celebrating Christmas. See what Disney World has planned for this year's holidays, including Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, a new Christmas Party at Hollywood Studios, and other festive activities.

Christmas Tree Stroll at Disneyland

Buy a hot chocolate from Starbucks (or make one yourself, of course!) and favor the incredible beauty of these Christmas trees that have gorgeous decorations. You won't want to miss these festive photo opportunities with plenty of fun-themed trees, so bring your camera! This year, you can even pick yourself a scavenger hunt map complete with stickers to use while you search for every tree.

Happy Menagerie of Animal Kingdom at DVC

When it comes to celebrating the holidays at Walt Disney World, Animal Kingdom has in recent times. The Merry Menagerie, their newest addition to the holiday fun, is indeed one of the cutest. This display includes entertaining winter animal puppets that are not only interactive but also a lot of fun to watch! The penguins are a favorite of ours. But none of them will let you down! In evening the Merry Menagerie and winter animal luminaries are illuminated, creating a lovely and relaxing atmosphere. And it's all a part of Animal Kingdom's holiday celebration.

Fun at Grand Floridian Resort

A spa day may be just what you need to balance off a hectic holiday because spending entire days at theme parks can be exhausting. At Walt Disney World, there are two Senses Spas—one is at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa, while the other is at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort. A full-service spa and salon offers body treatments, massages, facials, and hair styling. The 24-hour health and fitness center is available for guests who want to maintain their exercise routines.

Motorized boat rentals, specialty adventures, Movies Under the Stars, an arcade, basketball, jogging, and campfire activities are just a few of the resort's recreational options. During the outdoor movie night, you will enjoy "The Princess and the Frog."

The Electrical Water Pageant cruises by the resort's beach for additional evening entertainment, providing visitors with breathtaking views of the nocturnal water procession. Viewing the Magic Kingdom's evening show from the hotel is a delight! Even though there is soundtrack at Disney, you can sing along. After a tiring day at the parks, it is simpler to walk to the bedrooms.

Epcot, a DVC resort to enjoy winter vacations.

Winter at Epcot is incredible, even though Magic Kingdom is rocking over the holidays! Epcot hosts two outstanding festivities in the winter. The Epcot International Festival of Holidays is the first one to begin wrapping up in the early winter. Walk through the World Showcase to hear storytellers, sample seasonal fare, and sip festive drinks to sense how different nations celebrate holidays. You should attend the Candlelight Processional as well. Epcot begins the International Festival of Arts after this festival concludes following the Christmas season. It is the ideal winter event with art in everything: visuals, entertainment, music, and tasting.

Marathon weekend at DVC

If you decide to participate in the Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend, you will put your physical and mental strength to the test. Runners from the whole world sprint their way through the Disney theme parks from January 4 through January 8.

Endorphins aren't the only thing this year's race promises; it also marks the 30th anniversary of the Marathon Weekend.
