Traveling to Disney’s Polynesian Resort 

The Polynesian Resort sits at an ideal location, providing you access to various other parks and DVC Resorts at short distances. 


Walt Disney World Monorail connects Disney's Polynesian Resort to the Magic Kingdom Park, the Contemporary Resort, the Grand Floridian Resort, and Epcot. Using the monorail you can reach any of these parks within minutes. 

A water-taxi service is also available, which will take you to Disney's Magic Kingdom park and back. The Polynesian Resort is a 28-minute drive away from Orlando International Airport.


Accommodations and DVC Points

 The Polynesian Resort provides one of the most luxurious accommodations in all of the Walt Disney World. The Resort’s Deluxe Studios were recently remodeled and are the largest among all of the other DVC resorts.

The rooms are designed with a strong Polynesian vibe, with vibrant colors and artworks making your stay worth it.

Recreational Activities 

Pools 

Take a dip in the resort's feature pool called the "Lava Pool". As the name suggests it is a heated pool, with an active volcano model that erupts warm water. Slide down the 142-foot waterslide curling around the volcano. The Lava Pool also has a whirlpool spa and various other poolside facilities. The resort also features a leisure pool, intended to provide guests with a blissful and tranquil environment. 

 

Electrical Water Pageant 

Sight the Electrical Water Pageant and the underwater creatures of the Seven Seas Lagoon. The Water Pagent parade is carried out every evening, the parade features Disney Music and a tribute to the great American nation with a patriotic score.

Seven Seas Marina 

Guests staying at the Polynesian Resort can go boating on the Seven Seas Lagoon. The resort’s Marina provides a variety of boats, rent yourself a 170 Montauk or a family pontoon boat and go boating with your family.

Torch Lighting Ceremony 

Experience the majestic torch lighting known as Nifo Oti. The ceremony also includes a Samoan fire dance. These ceremonies will give you a taste of the Polynesian culture and will ignite your holiday spirits. 

Dining 

Ohana 

Ohana brings the magic of  Polynesian culture to the Walt Disney World. Charm yourself with a mouthwatering breakfast at Ohana, the menu features popular dishes like scrambled eggs, Mickey Mouse waffles, and much more. Ohana also provides dining services for dinnertime with enriching and delish meals.


Kona Cafe 

Serving classic American meals and featuring an intense Asian-themed interior, the Kona Cafe offers a delightful cultural variety. With a wide range of dining options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, the Kona Cafe is great for any meal of the day. Moreover, if you’re a sushi fan, then you’ll love Kona Cafe’s live-onstage Sushi kitchen.
