Vacation Planning DVC Resorts

Are you planning to join the Disney Vacation Club? That's great. However, while planning, you might come across one important thought "What do I need to know before joining Disney Vacation Club?". Although it's pretty normal to think like that, it's better to resolve this mystery rather than believing whatever you've heard from someone. While being in DVC, I've met a lot of people encountering the same question, and so I decided to answer it here for all of you. So, stick around with this piece of information and give it a read carefully.

Understand The Points System First

Once you plan to buy DVC points, there are some aspects you need to consider about this point system first. As you know DVC operates on a point system where points are purchased for desired stays, so here I'm sharing key information about the point system as per my experience.

·        Deeded at a specific DVC resort, but can stay at any resort.

·        Frequency and length of stays depend on points purchased and party size of course.

·        DVC resorts require fewer points during the lowest point seasons (late January, September, and early December).

·        1 bedroom villas require double points.

·        View options that impact total points, with desirable room accommodations having higher points.

·        Make sure that your points purchase should meet family needs, family size, and travel time.

·        Remember that points are typically used for 50 years.

Consider It As An Emotional Investment

While most people consider buying DVC points as a financial investment. However, in my opinion, it's an emotional investment. You share your good times at that place to create happy memories and cherish moments with loved ones. Meanwhile, you can get an added perk by renting them or selling DVC points, which comes up with some benefits in terms of finance.

Keep Membership Dues In Mind

Usually, people assume to pay at once, and they can enjoy a lifetime vacation freely. But the truth lies in something else. Yes, it's not only a one-time investment. Instead, you have to pay annual dues! These dues vary depending on the resort, and point. However, you are bound to pay for it, and getting a membership doesn't come up with a free vacation. You've to pay the annual dues which DVC claims to be used for your resort's operating costs, administrative expenses, refurbishment expenses, and real estate taxes.

Housekeeping Diversity

Many people are surprised by the diversity of housekeeping at DVC Resort vs. Disney. As DVC resorts provide a distinct housekeeping methodology so, often people get surprised by this. To make it clear, I'll mention some key aspects of it for you. But remember to understand it instead of getting surprised.

·        The cost of housekeeping at DVC Resort is determined by the day of arrival.

·        On the fourth day of a seven-day stay, garbage and towel service is offered.

·        During this period, supplies for the kitchen and bathrooms are refilled.

·        Full cleaning service is provided on day 4, trash and towel service on day 8, and full cleaning again on day 12 are offered to guests staying eight or more nights.

Experience Beyond Imagination

Apart from everything, I must say, that when I was planning to buy DVC points, I was passionate about it. So I took services from DVC Sales. But now, I just can't find words to describe how amazing it turned out to be. Overall, the buying and selling experience at DVS is just beyond imagination with DVC Sales. And You'll start loving it more than you can even imagine.
